Founded by Randy and Carmen Taylor, the company combines decades of experience in entertainment, leadership, and production — delivering high-energy, professional announcing and event coordination across rodeo, motorsports, and live arenas nationwide.
Our LEGACY
The Story Behind the Name
The name WAHOO carries history, heart, and horsepower.
It was inspired by Randy’s late father, whose race car proudly carried the name “Wahoo.” To the Taylors, it represents legacy — a tribute to family, determination, and the thrill of competition. Today, that same spirit drives WAHOO’s work across every rodeo, motor event, and production they touch.

Continuing the legacy, for more than three decades of combined experience, Randy and Carmen Taylor have lived and breathed the energy of live entertainment. From small-town rodeos to national arenas, they’ve turned their love for the sport, the sound, and the storytelling into a career defined by grit, gratitude, and unforgettable moments.
Randy “The Cherokee Cowboy” Taylor
With more than 30 years behind the mic, Randy has made a career out of bringing stories to life. A PRCA Gold Card Announcer, former Wrangler National Finals Rodeo qualifier, and recipient of the 2025 PRCA Excellence in Broadcast Journalism Award, his voice is instantly recognizable and always authentic.
Randy’s roots run deep in both western sports and motorsports — blending grit, heart, and humor in every event. His announcing style is more than words; it’s connection, energy, and storytelling that brings fans to their feet.
Carmen Taylor
Behind every great production is someone keeping the gears turning. Carmen Taylor, a proud U.S. Air Force veteran with over 23 years of honorable service, leads with precision, organization, and confidence. Her background in leadership and communication ensures every show runs smoothly — from soundboard to spotlight.
Known for her calm under pressure and spot-on music direction, Carmen keeps the rhythm of the arena — and the audience — perfectly in sync.
